Job Description
Objectives:
To effectively engage physicians and healthcare providers to promote Takeda products, achieving individual sales targets, expedite hospital listing, ensure timely hospital orders, product availability, and seamless order management with the Thai FDA.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve individual and team sales targets by effectively communicating product benefits and ensuring alignment with physicians’ and healthcare providers’ needs.
- Organize scientific meetings, face-to-face or remotely, aligned with marketing strategies: Group Product Presentation, Lecture Tour, Virtual Roundtable discussion, Booth exhibition with customers delivering customized presentations based on the customer's needs to drive brand awareness and treatment.
- Secure product listing in responsible accounts, ensure supply continuity by overseeing hospital-level stock management, and facilitate timely orders through proactive follow-up with hospital pharmacists.
- Provide approved electronic scientific information (e-detailing aid, approved email) and clinical support to healthcare providers, enhancing their confidence in physicians on Takeda products.
- Analyze data and insights, develop business plans by account/territory, and provide up-to-date area situation and sales performance reports monthly.
- Ensure all interactions, including medical events, booth exhibitions, and promotions, align with Takeda’s values and industry regulations, maintaining compliance and ethics.
Qualifications:
Sales Specialist:
- Bachelor’s degree (Pharmaceutical science)
- A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in pharmaceutical sales
- Prior experience and familiarity with Psychiatry, particularly in ADHD portfolio management, strongly preferred
- Result-Oriented: Demonstrated capability to achieve listing expansion, meet/exceed sales targets, and build strategic relationships.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills to effectively engage with healthcare providers and convey compelling product insights.
Senior Sales Specialist:
- Bachelor’s degree (Pharmaceutical science)
- At least two years’ experience in pharmaceutical sales
- Psychiatry experience strongly preferred
- Successful completion of sales training courses as required for the first year in Professional Product Specialist / Professional Sales Specialist positions.
- At least 2 years of above-average sales performance.
- Consistently demonstrates competencies beyond expectations for Professional Sales Specialist for at least one year.
Travel Requirements:
- Travel locally within the assigned district is required.
