Job Overview

Precisely is seeking a seasoned Senior Pre-Sales Consultant to join our expanding APAC Data Integrity team. The ideal candidate will have experience with data governance, data quality, data integration, location intelligence, or data enrichment strategies. You will engage with prospects to understand their challenges, demonstrate how Precisely solutions can help, and implement technical proof-of-concepts. This role requires a result-driven mindset and the ability to influence product positioning effectively.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate effectively with Sales and cross-functional teams including Delivery, Engineering, Marketing, and Product Management.
2. Lead discovery processes to understand customer requirements thoroughly.
3. Contribute to RFPs/RFQs.
4. Deliver compelling demos, conduct PoCs, Assisted Trials, and other presales activities.
5. Articulate the value of solutions clearly to all stakeholders.
6. Build strong relationships with customers and partners.
7. Support partners in go-to-market activities and training.
8. Display high technical expertise and establish credibility.
9. Align solutions with customer and partner needs internally.

Requirements

• Minimum five years of presales experience in data management disciplines such as data governance, data quality, MDM, ETL, migrations, BI reporting, cloud ecosystems, data lakes, big data, location intelligence, or spatial analytics.
• Strong domain expertise in modern cloud stacks, including AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, or containerization.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Proven success in supporting enterprise-level deal closures.
• Passion for solving complex data challenges and advising on data integrity.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and Linux/Windows.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Management, or related fields; relevant experience may suffice for non-technical degrees.

Preferred

• Hands-on experience with enterprise Data Quality, Governance, Location Intelligence, or spatial analytics.
• Experience with Hadoop/Spark, cloud ecosystems like GCP, Azure, AWS.
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
