Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a technically adept sales engineer to drive territory revenue in Houston's OEM and EPC markets. You will leverage deep Mechanical Seals and API pump knowledge to influence specifications, present technical solutions, and win high-value projects.

Collaborate with global sales, engineering, and aftermarket teams on front-end design phases and capital upgrades, while developing OEM relationships across the Texas/Gulf Coast area.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in technical sales or applications engineering.
• Deep expertise in Mechanical Seals (API 682).
• Strong background in API 610 centrifugal pumps or turbomachinery.
• Experience influencing EPC specifications and managing OEM relationships in Texas/Gulf Coast.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in technical sales or applications engineering
• Deep technical expertise in Mechanical Seals (API 682 standards)
• Strong background in industrial centrifugal pumps (API 610) or turbomachinery
• Proven track record of influencing EPC specifications and managing industrial OEM relationships in Texas/Gulf Coast markets
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent practical industry experience)
