Meet the Team

You will be an integral part of both the Cloud + AI Infrastructure (CAI) and Internet and Mass-Scale Infrastructure (I&MI) teams. The CAI team delivers one scalable strategy with local execution for data center customer transformation and growth, serving as the worldwide go-to-market compute and data center networking engine. The I&MI team focuses on routing and optical solutions for mass-scale infrastructure. You will work closely with regional managers, sales specialists, technical experts, and marketing professionals to drive growth in the RoC segment.

Your Impact

As the Senior Director, you will lead Cisco's efforts in the rapidly growing "Rest of Cloud" (RoC) segment within the Artificial Intelligence (AI) market. Your responsibilities include driving the go-to-market strategy and adoption of Cisco's AI infrastructure and networking solutions to Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) and emerging AI providers, including AI-native cloud builders, AI SaaS providers, and AI System Integrators. This role requires a strong understanding of AI infrastructure and networking technologies, and the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve targets for Cloud + AI Infrastructure and mass-scale networking products within the RoC segment.
  • Lead a team of business development managers working with VC/PE firms to identify emerging RoC leaders and activate sellers and technical communities.
  • Identify and prioritize target accounts within the AI provider landscape and develop relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Engage with clients to understand their workload challenges related to Virtualization and AI.
  • Collaborate with VCs funding NEOCloud builders to develop infrastructure investment strategies.
  • Drive sales of optics, routing, optical, and automation solutions to AI networks.
  • Guide emerging providers through network architecture transitions supporting AI services.
  • Coordinate with marketing, engineering, product development, partners, and customer success teams to align strategies.
  • Travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 10+ years in sales or related fields, focusing on Compute, Data Center Networking, Storage, Routing, Optical, AI, Virtualization, Bare Metal, or similar.
  • 5+ years in management or sales leadership, leading regional managers or sales teams.
  • Knowledge of industry trends like AI, machine learning, NLP, and computer vision.
  • Understanding of business issues faced by Cloud Builders and Providers, Networking Infrastructure, Data Center tech, Deep Learning & Machine Learning.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
  • Experience connecting mass-scale networking with AI infrastructure.
  • Experience with deep learning, data science, NVIDIA GPUs.
  • Familiarity with data workloads like Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, MongoDB, Snowflake, Oracle, Hadoop, etc.
  • At least one AI industry certification.
