Job summary

Meridian Senior Living is hiring a Sales and Marketing Director in Fort Lauderdale to drive occupancy and lead external and internal sales efforts. You will collaborate with the Executive Director to implement effective strategies and ensure outstanding resident service.

The ideal candidate has a passion for seniors, strong customer service, and extensive marketing and sales experience, with supervisory capabilities and a commitment to integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business/Communications or related field preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in retirement, nursing home, or assisted living industry.
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Sales - inside and outside - experience preferred.
• Strong commitment to proactive sales and marketing as it relates to community occupancy.
• Strong customer service track record with measurable results.
• Strong computer, analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently; be self-motivated and goal-directed.
• Must be honest, fair, dependable, respect confidentiality and the rights and privacy of others.
• Must meet all health requirements and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Senior Living Sales and Marketing Director role in coordinating internal and external sales efforts.
• Work closely with the Executive Director to ensure an effective sales and marketing process.
• Develop strategies to increase occupancy while delivering high-quality customer service.
• Coach and supervise staff to maintain service excellence and compliance.
