Job summary

Heron Foods is seeking a Senior Part-Time Sales Assistant to lead in-store operations, support the team, and maintain excellent customer service. You will be responsible for coaching staff, handling daily tasks, and ensuring a welcoming shopping experience.

In this role you will manage stock, oversee deliveries, and step in as a keyholder when management is unavailable. This fast-paced position requires a proactive, customer-focused leader who thrives on teamwork.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in retail or hospitality.
• Key-holder experience is a plus.
• Ability to motivate a team and deliver great customer service.

What You'll Do:

As a Senior Part-Time Sales Assistant, you’ll take on a key leadership role to keep the store running smoothly and successfully. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting and motivating the team to deliver exceptional results.
• Ensuring high standards of customer service and resolving queries effectively.
• Maintaining an impeccable store presentation with well-stocked and tidy shelves.
• Assisting with stock management and overseeing deliveries.
• Acting as a keyholder and taking responsibility for the store in the absence of management (including store openings and closes).
