Job summary

TeamWork is seeking a Senior SailPoint IdentityIQ Engineer to lead design, development, integration, and governance across on‑premises and cloud SailPoint platforms. You will guide a distributed team, translate security requirements into scalable IAM solutions, and ensure platform stability and compliance.

Role involves hands-on engineering, L3 production support, and collaboration with architects, product owners, and IT stakeholders. Hybrid 2–3 days/week in Durham, NC, contract hourly paid.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of SailPoint IdentityIQ development and IAM experience.
• Deep knowledge of IIQ architecture, Java APIs, workflows and lifecycle management.
• Experience leading IIQ upgrades, customization and connector assessment.
• Strong Java/J2EE, XML, JSON, SQL and API skills.
• Experience with REST/SOAP, SCIM, LDAP, HR platforms and enterprise apps.
• Knowledge of SailPoint Identity Security Cloud and cloud integrations.
• Git, CI/CD, automated testing and deployment, JVM troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, customize, and maintain IIQ solutions and extensions.
• Build and support integrations with HR systems, directory services, ServiceNow, SAP and security platforms.
• Lead platform upgrades, patches, migrations, testing, and rollback planning.
• Resolve complex production issues and improve monitoring and automation.
• Provide technical leadership, review designs, mentor developers, and manage risks.
• Ensure solutions follow IAM, cybersecurity, and data-protection standards.
• Translate requirements into practical IAM solutions and improve user experience.
