Job summary

Xalient is seeking a SailPoint Sr. Consultant in the United States to gather requirements, deploy SailPoint IdentityIQ and Identity Security Cloud, and integrate with AD, Entra ID, LDAP, and other systems.

You will design lifecycle management, provisioning, and access governance, while developing rules and scripts and supporting migrations. The role requires 5+ years in IAM consulting, strong Java/REST/WSDL skills, and experience with databases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years progressive and current work experience in IAM security domain.
• 3+ years hands-on SailPoint IdentityIQ and/or Identity Security Cloud implementation.
• Experience designing and developing Java applications with focus on REST API and Webservices.
• Relational databases knowledge (Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL) and SQL.
• Strong communication and troubleshooting skills with SailPoint products.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze and document client requirements and translate to functional/technical specs.
• Install, configure, integrate and deploy SailPoint IIQ and ISC solutions as defined by the Solution Architect.
• Onboard target applications and configure connectors (AD, Entra ID, LDAP, JDBC, Web Services/REST, SAP, Workday, ServiceNow).
• Configure identity lifecycle management, provisioning, access requests and certifications.
• Develop SailPoint rules, workflows and custom code using Java/BeanShell/Velocity.
• Support migrations from IIQ to ISC.
• Create test plans and perform unit/integration/UAT testing.
• Maintain environments and SDLC processes including deployments and change control.
• Troubleshoot issues and engage SailPoint support as needed.
• Document designs, runbooks and operations procedures.
• Provide knowledge transfer and training to client admins.

Position

SailPoint Sr. Consultant

• Gather, analyze and document client business, security, regulatory compliance and process requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications
• Install, configure, integrate and deploy SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) and Identity Security Cloud (ISC) solutions as defined by the Solution Architect, and contribute to solution design
• Onboard target applications and configure connectors, including Active Directory, Entra ID, LDAP, JDBC, Web Services/REST, SAP, Workday and ServiceNow
• Configure and develop identity lifecycle management (Joiner/Mover/Leaver), provisioning, access requests, access certifications, roles and separation of duties policies
• Develop and review SailPoint rules, workflows, transforms and custom code using Java, BeanShell and Velocity
• Support migrations from SailPoint IdentityIQ to Identity Security Cloud
• Develop and execute unit, integration and user acceptance test plans and test cases
• Maintain multiple environments following coding best practices and the SDLC, including build, production deployment and change management activities
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, and engage SailPoint support as needed
• Document and maintain solution designs, configuration guides, runbooks and operational procedures
• Provide knowledge transfer and training to client administrators and support teams
• Mentor Consultants and Associate Consultants in their IGA and SailPoint skills
• Communicate status, risks and issues to project managers, architects and client stakeholders
• Stay current on SailPoint product releases and IAM trends, tools and best practices

Requirements

• 5+ years progressive and current work experience as a systems integrator or consultant in the Identity & Access Management security domain.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience implementing SailPoint IdentityIQ and/or SailPoint Identity Security Cloud
• Experience designing and developing Java applications with focus on REST API and Webservices
• Expertise in relational databases (Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL) and SQL
• Excellent written and verbal skills for communicating complex technical issues and concepts
• Strong troubleshooting skills with SailPoint IdentityIQ and Identity Security Cloud, including log analysis and connector debugging.
• Strong understanding of information security fundamentals in the identity and access management domain
• Solid understanding of identity governance concepts including lifecycle management, roles, certifications and separation of duties
• Intimate understanding of LDAP and Active Directory technologies
• Experience installing and configuring software on Windows and Linux, and with application servers such as Tomcat
• Ability to travel to clients when needed

Preferred Professional Experience:

• Experience with SailPoint File Access Manager, Non-Employee Risk Management or other SailPoint modules
• Implementation of Access Management or Privileged Access Management solutions (e.g., Okta, Entra ID, CyberArk)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience supporting IAM managed services environments

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or other technical field or equivalent (required)
• CISSP (Preferred)
