Delaware Valley Job Corps in Callicoon, NY is seeking a Senior Safety & Security Advisor. This full-time role covers supervising a Safety & Security team, conducting incident investigations, and ensuring compliance with safety directives. Shift pattern includes weekends and evenings, with dedicated off days.

You will mentor students, manage security measures, and maintain accurate safety reports while supporting smooth center operations and student success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in military, law enforcement, or security.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to maintain a safe and structured environment.
• Valid in-state driver's license required and must meet Company insurability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the Safety & Security team to keep students and staff safe.
• Conduct investigations of incidents and accidents, implementing measures to prevent recurrence.
• Ensure compliance with PRH, OSHA, and other safety directives.
• Perform routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify hazards.
• Oversee security, visitor control, and student accountability.
• Coordinate staff coverage to maintain supervised student areas.
• Provide operational support to ensure smooth center operations.
• Mentor students and model Career Success Standards.
• Maintain accurate reports and data on safety, security, and incidents.
