Job summary

Progressive Safety is seeking a Senior Construction Safety Coordinator to lead safety on mission-critical data center builds. You will oversee field safety on active projects, drive a proactive safety culture, and mentor junior staff while coordinating with superintendents and subcontractors.

Required are 4+ years of construction safety, OSHA certifications, and hands-on experience on active jobsites; BCSP is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of construction safety experience.
• OSHA 510 + OSHA 10, 30, and 40 (Required).
• First Aid, Narcan, Bloodborne Pathogens, CPR, and/or AED training.
• NFPA 70E and LOTO experience.
• BCSP Certification (STS-C, CHST, ASP, CSP) – Strongly Preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Health, or Environmental.
• Experience working in active jobsite environments.
• Strong communicator who can influence safe behaviors in the field.
• Comfortable using tools like Procore, Excel, Teams.

Responsibilities

• Leading jobsite safety efforts on active, large-scale construction projects.
• Conducting site audits, inspections, and hazard assessments.
• Driving a proactive safety culture with field teams and leadership.
• Delivering toolbox talks, orientations, and training.
• Partnering closely with superintendents, subcontractors, and project leaders.
• Mentoring junior safety staff and helping elevate team performance.
• Managing incident investigations, reporting, and safety documentation.
