Jobot is seeking a permanent Safety & Occupational Health Specialist to support and enhance EHS programs. The role emphasizes compliance, safety culture, and risk reduction across field and operational environments in a regulated industry.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety and occupational health, with a track record of implementing effective safety programs and procedures. A relocation package is available along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Occupational Health, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Certifications CSP, HAZWOPER, Forklift Certified Trainer (can be obtained after hire).
• CPR and First Aid proficiency.
• Excellent knowledge of federal and state safety and health regulations, including OSHA standards.
• Strong communication skills for effective training and presentations.
• Proactive safety mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive safety programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Provide safety training and education to all employees, including CPR, First Aid, and forklift operation.
• Manage and maintain records of safety-related incidents and conduct thorough investigations to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with management and employees to promote safety and health policies and procedures.
• Prepare and present regular safety reports to management, highlighting trends and improvements.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with emergency response teams as needed.
