Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking a Senior Corporate Safety & Health Specialist to lead and advance the Safety & Health program across multiple sites. The role requires expert OSHA knowledge, a strong construction safety background, and the ability to coordinate with site teams and corporate offices.

The position involves travel to various project locations, driving responsibilities, and delivering on-site training to ensure compliance with safety standards and project goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or Construction Management with 7 years of construction field experience.
• Expert knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, NIOSH, CoE, NEC and related standards.
• Proficient in Windows-based platforms and basic computer skills.
• Experience as Site Safety & Health representative on heavy industrial project locations preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the corporate and project Safety & Health program execution with site safety management and corporate offices.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA rules and regulations across Local, State, and Federal levels.
• Manage Safety & Health across multiple project sites including subcontractors.
• Lead safety training for project personnel and subcontractors on-site.
• Investigate near-miss, property damage, environmental incidents and accidents and implement corrective actions.
• Present program progress and objectives to Corporate Safety & Health management.
