Job summary

Daiichi Sankyo is seeking an Associate Director of Epidemiology Analytics to lead data-driven safety evaluations using trial and real-world data. The role centers on designing statistical analysis plans, guiding signal detection, and shaping risk-benefit assessments under CSPV leadership.

You will collaborate with statisticians, epidemiologists, and regulatory teams to deliver robust analyses, manuscripts, and safety reporting while mentoring junior team members.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree with 7+ years in epidemiologic methods and data analysis.
• PhD with 4+ years in epidemiologic methods and data analysis preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide data management to set up epidemiologic data sets across diverse data sources.
• Conduct descriptive and multivariable analyses for safety queries and regulatory needs.
• Set up and analyze case-control and cohort study designs.
• Perform signal detection in spontaneous reports (FAERS, EVDAS) and in RWD.
• Develop automation tools (e.g., R Shiny) for analyses and reporting.
• Conduct literature reviews and meta-analyses; collaborate with cross-functional teams.
