Job summary

Firehawk Aerospace seeks a Senior Safety Engineer to lead Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs at its Lawton, OK propellant facility. You will ensure safe manufacturing, storage, handling, and testing of energetic materials while complying with OSHA, EPA, ATF, NFPA, and DoD requirements.

The role covers PHAs/JHAs, risk assessments, investigations, and safety program development. You will coordinate safety reviews, support facility modifications, and maintain regulatory documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in safety roles in high-hazard environments.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, process safety, and explosive safety practices.
• Experience with hazard analysis, investigations, and regulatory audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site's EHS programs and compliance with OSHA/EPA/ATF/NFPA/DoD requirements.
• Perform PHAs, JHAs, and risk assessments; participate in MOC and PSSRs.
• Lead safety investigations and coordinate corrective actions.
• Develop emergency plans and coordinate drills with responders.
