Job summary

Eurofins USA Consumer Product Testing is seeking a Staff Engineer with strong knowledge of product safety standards (IEC 60601-1 and collaterals) to support the Austin product safety business. You will write reports, communicate with clients, and help scope and quote projects while guiding other engineers.

• Two to four-year engineering degree or equivalent work experience.
• 8–10 years of product safety experience.

Responsibilities

• Apply working knowledge of IEC 60601-1 and related standards on projects.
• Quote to support product safety standards.
• Assist in audits and corporate safety compliance.
• Write reports and communicate with clients.
• Perform product safety tests per project requirements.
• Support department and management in audits.
• Lead internal/external product safety reviews.
• Coordinate with sales and customers.
• Attend product reviews and provide technical input.
• Manage multiple projects.
• Provide engineering rationale for decisions.
