Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Director of Safety for a remote-US role in the Energy & Utilities space. This position drives enterprise-wide safety strategy and collaborates with executive leadership to embed safety in daily work and long-term planning.

You will lead a safety team across regions, shape policies and training, and use data to reduce risk. Requires 8+ years of progressive safety experience and OSHA knowledge; CSP/CIH preferred. Compensation: $110,000–$130,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 8+ years of progressive safety experience, including 5+ years in multi-site leadership.
• Proven ability to build and execute effective safety programs.
• Deep knowledge of OSHA regulations; familiarity with DOT/FMCSA preferred.
• Professional certification such as CSP, ASP, CHST, or CIH preferred.
• Experience in high-hazard industries such as propane or transportation preferred.

• Serve as the safety subject matter expert for executive leadership.

• Use incident data and audits to inform strategic decisions.
• Report safety performance and recommendations to executive leadership.
• Oversee a company-wide audit and inspection program.
