Mission Support and Test Services, LLC (MSTS) is seeking a Senior Safeguards & Security Specialist to oversee day-to-day assessment activities for Security and Emergency Services management programs. Responsibilities include leading assessments, coordinating with Federal oversight, and ensuring action plans are tracked to closure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5+ years progressive related experience.
• Experience in management assessments, performance testing, or audits preferred.
• Safeguards/security survey experience highly desirable.
• Strong organizational, scheduling, and prioritization abilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Interpersonal skills and ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain assessment plans per DOE orders and company requirements.
• Conduct management assessments/surveillances and write reports.
• Coordinate assessments with other orgs and Federal oversight.
• Enter/track results and corrective actions in caWeb until closure.
• Develop corrective action plans and root-cause analyses.
• Verify effectiveness of actions and prevent recurrence.
