A leading medical software company in Tucson, AZ is looking for a SAFe Agile Product Owner to drive the development of software solutions for advanced medical instruments in laboratories. This mid-senior level contract role requires at least 10 years of software development experience and proven skills in Agile methodologies. Candidates will be responsible for managing the product backlog, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring high-quality software aligned with customer needs. The salary range for this position is $142,600.00 - $261,500.00.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the development team.
• Own and manage the product backlog, including defining user stories.
• Guide delivery of customer-centric features and accept completed work.
• Apply design principles and user insights for effective problem-solving.
• Provide servant leadership to a self-organizing Agile team.
• Participate in design reviews and promote continuous improvement.

Connaissances

10 years of experience in a software development environment

Problem-solving skills with experience in complex systems

Excellent communication skills

Working knowledge of Agile methodologies

Direct experience as a Product Owner in a SAFe environment

Experience creating and managing a product backlog

Coaching and alignment skills

Experience in software delivery focused on customer outcomes

Background in software architecture or technical design

Project management experience
