Job summary

Amazon Senior Software Development Engineer for S3 Storage Cells is responsible for building the storage control plane services that persist and retrieve customer data at scale. You will design, implement, deploy, and maintain features across a high‑volume, globally available system, delivering reliable performance and cost efficiency.

You will work in an agile environment, mentoring others, driving architecture decisions, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to improve service quality

Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.
