Placements24 is seeking a Senior Strength and Conditioning Coach to lead a high-performance athletics program in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. You will design periodized programs for track and field athletes, conduct assessments, educate on lifting techniques, prevent injuries, and collaborate with coaches and medical staff to optimize performance and athlete well-being.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Sports Science or related field.
• Accreditation with a recognized professional body (e.g., SCCC, NSCA CSCS).
• Minimum 6 years of experience in strength and conditioning with high-performance athletes, especially track and field.
• Experience designing and implementing integrated strength, power, speed and conditioning programs.
• In-depth knowledge of biomechanics, exercise physiology, and sports nutrition.
• Strong communication, leadership and collaboration in multidisciplinary teams.

• Design, implement and supervise periodized strength and conditioning programs for track and field athletes.
• Conduct comprehensive physical assessments and monitor progress.
• Educate athletes on lifting technique, injury prevention and recovery.
• Collaborate with sport coaches to integrate conditioning into training plans.
• Work with physiotherapists to manage rehabilitation and return‑to‑play.
• Stay current with research and best practices in sports science and conditioning.
