Raytheon, a leader in aerospace and defense, seeks a Senior S/4 Transition Data Architect to define enterprise data architecture during the ECC to S/4HANA migration. You will design canonical data models, integration patterns, and a bridge-reporting strategy across systems.

You will partner with product managers, enterprise architects, and delivery teams to set standards, create reference architectures, and guide end-to-end migration while ensuring timely, trustworthy insights.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience.
• Deep expertise in the SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA data models, including CDS views and embedded analytics concepts.
• Leverage tools such as SAC, Snowflake, SAP BODS to support data modeling, integration, governance and reporting needs.
• Proven track record designing bridge/transition architectures that support multi-system reporting during large transformations.
• Strong grounding in data modeling, warehousing, and data integration techniques.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise data architecture for the ECC → S/4HANA transition, defining principles and guardrails for data domains.
• Design the bridge reporting strategy that harmonizes ECC and S/4HANA datasets for cross-system analytics.
• Model canonical and system-specific data with golden sources and conformed dimensions.
• Define integration patterns between SAP and the analytics stack balancing latency, cost, and data quality.
• Enable analytics and planning in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) with secure data-access patterns.
• Oversee ETL/ELT pipelines using BODS and modern orchestration patterns.
• Create and maintain architecture artifacts aligned to TOGAF ADM phases A–D.
• Coach delivery teams and provide architectural reviews to ensure strategic alignment.
