Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior S/4 Transition Data Architect to shape the enterprise data foundation for the ECC to S/4HANA migration. You will define canonical data models, data domains, and a bridge-reporting strategy that enables timely insights during the parallel run of ECC and S/4HANA.

You will collaborate with product managers, architects, and delivery teams to establish standards, drive solution design, and ensure data quality and security across the analytics stack.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience with 10+ years in data architecture.
• Deep expertise in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA data models including CDS views and embedded analytics.
• Proven track record designing bridge/transition architectures to support multi-system reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise data architecture for ECC → S/4HANA transition and define guardrails for data domains.
• Design the bridge reporting strategy and harmonize datasets for cross-system analytics.
• Model canonical and system-specific data and establish golden sources and conformed dimensions.
• Define integration patterns between SAP and the analytical stack (APIs, SLT/ODP/CDC, files, events).
• Enable analytics in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and curate models, measures, and calculations.
• Oversee ETL/ELT pipelines using BODS and define data lineage and observability.
• Create and maintain architecture artifacts and roadmaps aligned to TOGAF ADM.
