Job summary

Unipart is seeking a Senior ABAP/S/4HANA consultant to design, implement, and extend SAP code objects within the S/4HANA development stream. You will deliver high-performing ABAP components and ensure alignment with project standards.

You’ll lead advanced ABAP development (RAP, BOPF, CDS, OData) and contribute to workshops, blueprints and technical training while travelling as required. The role emphasises mentoring, performance optimization, and automated testing with ABAP Test Cockpit.

Qualifications

• SAP ABAP development with 2+ full S/4HANA implementations or migrations.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Activate Methodology; SAP S/4HANA ABAP or SAP BTP certifications preferred.
• Experience building on-stack and side-by-side extensions per S/4HANA architecture.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally; valid passport.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of ABAP components (RAP, BOPF, CDS, OData, workflows).
• Develop standard extension PoCs and system demos for Cloud environments.
• Follow SAP offerings with SAP Activate and Cloud ALM; document tasks.
• Review TDDs against specs and map to business workflows.
• Support internal training and knowledge-sharing workshops; run code reviews.
• Perform deep-dive code reviews and automated testing with ATC.
