Blue Compass RV Kansas City is seeking an experienced RV Technician to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems across motorized and towable RVs. You will mentor teammates and uphold safety, quality, and efficiency in a fast-paced shop.

The role offers $35.00-$45.00 hourly, a mentorship program, apprentice pathways, bonuses, and a structured career path for skilled technicians with RV experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on RV service experience.
• RVIA/RVDA or manufacturer certifications preferred (or willing to obtain).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of RV systems (electrical, plumbing, roof, appliances, hydraulics).
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues on motorized and towable RVs.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting using diagnostic tools, manuals, and schematics.
• Lead by example in maintaining a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.
• Mentor entry-level and skilled technicians with guidance and on-the-job training.
• Perform pre-delivery inspections and ensure all systems are fully operational.
• Collaborate with service advisor and parts department to ensure timely repairs.
• Stay current on RVIA, manufacturer certifications and training.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and time allocated.
