Job summary

Legion is seeking a Senior RUST Developer to join the Platform team in a remote US capacity. You will design and maintain core infrastructure for our AI platform, leveraging Rust to build high-performance backend systems, and collaborate with ML engineers to support enterprise workloads.

The role requires US citizenship or greencard due to government contracting, 5–8+ years of experience, and proficiency with Kubernetes and Docker to ensure platform stability and scalability.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship or Greencard is required due to US Government contract requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5–8+ years of software and platform engineering experience, with a strong track record of designing and operating large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience in Rust with expertise in designing and developing high-performance systems; Kubernetes and Docker experience.
• Experience designing systems that support AI and machine learning workloads

Responsibilities

• Design and develop foundational components and frameworks that serve as the building blocks for our Agentic AI platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand needs and create platform solutions for developers to build on top of it.
• Stay current with design patterns, techniques, and technologies to attract developers to platforms and frameworks.
• Work closely with machine learning engineers to build infrastructure that supports ML workflows and ensures efficient execution.
• Provide production support and troubleshooting to ensure platform stability, performance, and scalability
