Job summary

BairesDev, a global software company, is seeking a Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer to drive the development of robust, scalable backend systems powering high-performance web applications. You will translate complex product requirements into clean, well-tested code and ensure optimal system architecture and database efficiency.

You will design APIs, optimize databases, implement tests, and collaborate on deployment workflows within a fully remote, global team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering or Ruby development.
• Proven expertise in building backend web apps with Ruby on Rails.
• Strong RESTful API development experience.
• Proficient in SQL, Active Record, testing, and performance tuning.
• Experience with Git and cloud deployment.
• Advanced English proficiency.

As a Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer, you will drive the development of robust, scalable backend systems to power high-performance web applications. You will serve as a key technical contributor, translating complex product requirements into clean, well-tested code while ensuring optimal system architecture and database efficiency.
