Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc. is seeking a Senior Ruby Developer to build robust web applications with a strong backend focus. You will work across the full stack, collaborating on database design with Postgres and coordinating with frontend teams using React.

The role requires 5+ years of senior development experience, fluency in English, and familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, and Scrum practices. Strong CI/CD experience with GitLab and Jenkins is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Senior Developer.
• Solid experience developing web applications using Ruby on Rails (Ruby v3.5, Rails 7).
• Proficiency in full-stack development with a focus on backend, including Postgres and React.
• Familiarity with GitLab and Jenkins.
• Understanding of AWS and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of Scrum processes.
• Good self-organization skills and communication in English.
• Nice to have Understanding of AWS, Kubernetes and containerization (Docker).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails.
