Job summary

Design Services Ltd seeks a Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer for a Barrow-area oil & gas project. The role is a 2-year PAYE contracting opportunity, with 4 days on-site and 1 day from home.

You will review and approve rotor equipment scopes, keep engineering docs up to date, and ensure compliance with ASME/API/ISO and local regulations. Ideal candidates have onshore and offshore O&G experience, asset integrity know-how, and a strong grasp of materials and corrosion mechanisms as well as

Senior Rotating Equipment Engineers

Our client is currently looking for Senior Rotating Equipment Engineers, the role will be a 2 year PAYE contracting opportunity within the Barrow area, this role will be based in the Oil & Gas Industry and will be looking for candidates that have Onshore and Offshore experience. This role will offer candidates hybrid working with 4 days a week on site and 1 day from home.

During this role candidates will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards and regulations such as ASME, API, ISO and local regulations. You will be responsible for reviewing and approving rotating equipment work scopes, job packs and method statements as well as preparing and maintaining technical documentation, including drawings, datasheets, calculations and operating / maintenance procedures.

The client will be looking for candidates that have proven experience with onshore and offshore oil and gas operations, maintenance and asset integrity practices as well as a strong working knowledge of rotating equipment used in the Oil and Gas production facilities.
