Job summary

Universal Windows Direct in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a 1099 subcontractor installer to perform precise installation of windows, doors, siding, and gutters, with emphasis on replacement windows.

You must have 5+ years of carpentry/construction experience, own tools, and be able to lift up to 100 pounds. Proof of liability insurance and a valid driver’s license are required. You will document work with photos and accurate paperwork.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of carpentry/construction experience, including in-home renovation.
• Ability to take accurate measurements using tape measure, level and square.
• Own equipment and ability to use power tools.
• Proof of liability insurance is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide remodel expertise in windows, doors, siding, and gutters; replacement windows experience preferred.
• Maintain a pleasant and professional attitude when dealing with customers.
• Respect customers’ property and leave the work area clean.
• Inform customers about functionality, care and upkeep of installations.
• Accurately complete and submit paperwork, photos, or other required documentation.
