Job summary

NeighborWorks Montana seeks a ROC Post Purchase Manager to lead post-purchase technical assistance for Montana’s resident owned communities (ROCs). You will supervise ROC Program Specialists, ensure quality governance and financial oversight, and coordinate refinancing transactions.

You’ll partner with the Cooperative Housing Director on risk, program quality, and strategic priorities, requiring statewide travel.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five years of progressively responsible experience in affordable housing, cooperative development, or related field.
• Experience supervising and developing staff with performance feedback.
• Strong project management across statewide portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Supervise ROC Program Specialists and coordinate post-purchase services.
• Lead team meetings, set goals, budgets, and staffing plans.
• Oversee governance, financials, compliance and property management for ROCs.
• Coordinate refinancing transactions and liaise with lenders and partners.
• Provide training and coaching to ROC boards and staff.
• Travel throughout Montana for ROC work and events.
