Kawasaki Robotics USA Inc in San Jose, CA is seeking a Robotics Test & Reliability Engineer III to improve system performance through control tuning, reliability testing and validation of electro-mechanical robots and controllers.

You will design test plans, develop automated scripts, execute tests, analyze data and drive corrective actions while supporting lean lab practices and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in ME, EE, IE or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 5–10 years in Testing & Reliability engineering.
• Experience with data acquisition and troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings.

Responsabilités

• Enhances robot performance by tuning control systems.
• Generates reliability test plans and executes them.
• Conducts functional and reliability testing on single and multi-link robots and controllers.
• Performs firmware regression testing, identifies issues, and collaborates with software engineering to resolve them.
• Designs, fabricates, validates, qualifies, and sets up test equipment, jigs and fixtures.
• Creates test scripts to automate test conditions.
• Collects test data, analyzes results, and presents findings.
• Investigates product failures to determine root cause and implement corrective actions.
• Initiates CIP and lean improvements aligned with the org. vision.
• Maintains 5S in the lab and a lean, organized environment.
