Job summary

Methods Machine Tools, Inc. in Wixom, MI is seeking a Senior System Build Technician to assemble, test, and prepare robotic automation systems for CNC machine tending applications.

You will collaborate with engineers, programmers, and project managers to ensure quality, adherence to drawings, and on-time deployment. Strong mechanical and electrical skills, plus experience with industrial automation, are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum education includes High School Diploma or GED with applicable technical certifications.
• Experience with industrial equipment assembly, machine building, or automation integration is preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and electrical schematics; interpret BOMs and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble robotic automation systems and machine tending cells to match specifications.
• Install pedestals, interfaces, guarding, conveyors, and EOAT components.
• Assist with system commissioning, testing, and FAT support.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic inspections and adjustments.
• Document assembly and test results and communicate deviations to engineering.
