Job summary

Methods Machine Tools Inc in Wixom, MI is seeking a System Build Technician to assemble, install, test, and prepare robotic automation systems for CNC machine tending. You will interpret engineering drawings and electrical schematics, assemble complete work cells, and ensure quality before customer deployment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or technical certification in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, Robotics Technology, or related field.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• 2+ years in industrial equipment assembly or automation integration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble robotic systems and automation cells per specs.
• Install EOAT, grippers, conveyors, and safety guarding.
• Test assemblies and verify against drawings and schematics.
• Support integration and FAT testing of systems.
• Document build and test results for each order.
• Travel to customer sites for installation and support as needed.
