General Motors seeks a Senior Robotics Software Engineer to advance robotics software across GM Manufacturing IT. You will collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and software teams to drive rapid, iterative solutions using ML/DL, simulation, and computer vision in real-world plant environments.

Responsibilities include defining robotics capabilities, streamlining processes, and delivering scalable prototypes. Occasional travel to GM plants in the US is required, with hybrid work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Robotics/EE/ME
• 5+ years of professional robotics software development
• Knowledge of Python and Java
• Experience with ROS and MoveIt
• Knowledge of linear algebra, computer vision, software development
• Travel required - 20%-25% of the time (North America)
