Keystone Distinction Group in the Greater Milwaukee area is seeking a Senior Automation & Robotics Integration Specialist to lead ground-up automation projects, integrating vision systems and PLCs across custom industrial equipment. This role offers high autonomy, travel 30–40%, and a full benefits package.

You will design cell architectures, lead on-site commissioning, and mentor junior engineers while delivering turnkey systems for automotive, consumer goods, and industrial sectors worldwide.

Qualifications

• 2- or 4-year Engineering degree required (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Software)
• 4-6 years of hands-on robotics, PLC, and vision system integration experience
• Hands-on mastery with Fanuc, Yaskawa, or ABB platforms and PLC troubleshooting
• Proficiency with industrial vision systems, offline simulation tools, CAD/SolidWorks
• Ability to diagnose and debug complex automated machinery across multiple domains
• Travel 30–40% domestically and internationally; passport and driver’s license required
• Residence within 45-minute commute of Greater Milwaukee area

Responsibilities

• Initialize Robotic Platforms: set up ground-up cells, calibrations, and I/O configurations on Fanuc, ABB, or Yaskawa systems
• Design control logic and architecture to coordinate with master PLCs
• Deploy Industrial Vision Systems for part guidance and inspection
• Lead in-house assembly, wiring verification, and EOAT integration
• Execute field commissioning with 30–40% travel to client sites
• Support applications engineering with layout insights and cycle-time analyses
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to in-house teams
