Job summary

MOHR Talent is seeking a Robotics Engineer for an in-person role in Caledonia, MS. You will program, integrate, and optimize advanced robotic systems used in high-reliability aerospace and defense manufacturing.

You will lead troubleshooting, integration, and continuous improvement efforts, collaborating with multiple functions to ensure uptime and quality. The role requires a solid Fanuc background, PLC/HMI skills, and experience with vision and automation equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Software, Controls or Mechatronics Engineering (ABET-accredited)
• 5+ years of experience programming and supporting industrial robots in manufacturing
• Hands-on Fanuc experience: programming, teach pendant, integration
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, sensors, servos, motion control, and industrial networks
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and PLC logic

Responsibilities

• Program, troubleshoot, and optimize industrial robots used in aerospace and defense manufacturing
• Develop robotic programs, automation sequences, and process logic to improve efficiency and quality
• Support integration of weld cells, material handling, vision systems, and automated assembly equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical, controls, and communication issues to reduce downtime
• Partner with Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Quality, and Maintenance on continuous improvement
• Support commissioning, factory acceptance testing, system startups, and validation
• Contribute to new product introduction, including process development, tooling, and fixture integration
• Create technical documentation, robot backups, and troubleshooting guides
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions on automation performance
