Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training in welding, robotics, automation, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of welding experience plus 2+ years in robotic welding is mandatory.
• Experience operating, setting up, teaching, or troubleshooting robotic welding equipment; FANUC experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and monitor robotic welding cells, preferably FANUC systems, according to instructions and schedules.
• Load, unload, position, and secure components in fixtures to ensure proper fit-up and repeatable weld quality.
• Select welded programs and adjust robot positions, weld paths, and other parameters as needed.
• Inspect welds for size, penetration, and conformance to drawings and quality requirements.
• Read fabrication drawings and welding symbols to confirm requirements.
• Troubleshoot alarms and issues; escalate complex problems to maintenance or supervision.
