The role focuses on inspecting roadway construction work to ensure compliance with plans, specs, and FDOT standards, serving as the daily point of contact with clients and contractors. Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years progressive experience in roadways/construction.
• Safety-first mindset.
• Strong writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Verify levels, alignment, and elevation of installations.
• Prepare samples of materials for laboratory testing.
• Examine workmanship for conformity to plans and specs.
• Interpret plans and discuss deviations to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Record quantities, develop pay estimates and change orders.
• Maintain daily construction and inspection logs and progress reports.
• Manage documents using electronic platforms (MAC, PrC, Procore).
