Job summary

Kisinger Campo & Associates (KCA) seeks an experienced Department Manager to lead the Roadway Engineering teams in Orlando and Fort Myers. You will deliver projects, ensure technical excellence, and manage staff and resources to meet client goals.

The ideal candidate is a licensed Professional Engineer with 10+ years' progressive engineering experience, strong project and people management, and a track record in business development and client relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required or equivalent.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) required.
• 10+ years of progressive engineering experience with supervisory/managerial exposure.
• Strong project management, design standards, and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide full technical oversight for planning, organizing, executing, and coordinating complex engineering projects.
• Ensure technical accuracy and adequacy of department deliverables.
• Establish and enforce quality control procedures and make final technical decisions.
• Supervise and direct engineers, team leads, technicians, and staff; recruit and develop talent.
• Oversee staffing, budgets, schedules, and resource allocations to meet milestones and goals.
• Lead client relationships, proposals, and business development activities; collaborate with contracts/marketing on scopes and fees.
• Promote continuous improvement and technical excellence; support staff licensure and professional growth.
