Job summary

Ilocatum is seeking a Sr. Roadway Engineer / Project Manager in Boca Raton, FL to lead a project team and drive transportation design. The role involves coordinating with municipalities, utility companies, and regulatory agencies to deliver roadway and drainage plans, permits, and construction documents.

You will also prepare scope and fee proposals, budgets, and schedules, while mentoring staff and managing client relationships on South Florida projects.

Qualifications

• P.E. in Florida is required.
• 6+ years of roadway engineering experience, including FDOT/local municipalities.
• Strong knowledge of FDOT specifications, permitting, and roadway design standards.
• Experience with OpenRoads/3D modeling and MicroStation.
• Florida local knowledge is essential.
• Experience with Palm Beach, Broward, or Miami‑Dade transportation projects.

Must-Haves:

• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Florida
• 6+ years of progressive roadway engineering experience, including work with FDOT and local municipalities
• Strong knowledge of FDOT specifications, permitting processes, and roadway design standards
• Experience with OpenRoads/3D Modeling and MicroStation
• Florida local
• Experience with Palm Beach, Broward, and/or Miami-Dade County transportation projects

Preferred:

• 10+ years of experience
• Traffic signal design experience
