Volkert Inc. is seeking a Senior Roadway Engineer/Project Manager for the Gulf Region, based in Mississippi and/or Tennessee.

The role focuses on plan review, project management for DOT and municipal projects, coordinating schedules, and producing documentation to support successful delivery. Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering from an accredited program.
• 10+ years of roadway design experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.

Responsibilities

• Provide plan review and project management for DOT and local municipal projects.
• Coordinate project activities, schedules, and reporting for assigned work.
• Prepare, issue, and track project documentation, including contracts and change orders.
• Develop correspondence and documentation for clients, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
• Support project financial processes, including invoices and purchase orders.
• Prepare and edit meeting minutes, reports, and presentations.
• Assist with project submittals and bidding activities.
• Provide technical and administrative support to the project team.
• Support client relationships and contribute to business development with local municipalities.
