Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in all technical aspects of roadway design.
• Experience in people management or supervision.
• OpenRoads Designer experience preferred.
• PE Certification preferred.
• Detail-oriented with strong technical and organizational skills.
• Proficient with spreadsheets and word processing; standard industry software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor junior staff while managing multiple roadway design tasks.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to meet schedule and budget requirements.
• Opportunity to be mentored and eventually become a Project Manager.
• Prepare accurate presentations, designs, details and construction documents.
• Prepare permit applications and submittal packages for applicable agencies.
• Coordinate with clients, subconsultants, permitting agencies, utilities, contractors, and others.
• Develop and adhere to project scope, schedules, and budgets.
