Job summary

Precision Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex roadway and transportation programs across multiple states.

You will manage high-impact pursuits with DDOT, VDOT, MDOT, and local municipalities, and mentor engineers and designers on a growing team. The role requires a seasoned professional with a strong client-focus, exceptional communication, and a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of roadway design and project management experience.
• PE licensure in DC, MD, or VA (reciprocal licensure in remaining jurisdictions expected).
• Proven track record delivering transportation projects on time and on budget for public-sector clients.
• Hands-on experience with state DOTs including DDOT, VDOT, MDOT, and/or local municipality projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead roadway design projects end-to-end — scope, budget, schedule, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Serve as the primary client contact for your projects; build and maintain strong agency relationships.
• Direct and mentor multidisciplinary project teams including engineers, designers, surveyors, traffic, and environmental specialists.
• Oversee technical work including geometric design, drainage, erosion and sediment control, pavement marking/signing, and construction staging.
• Review and provide QC guidance on deliverables from junior engineers and external consultants.
• Support business development through client relationship management and proposal contributions.
• Stay current on industry trends, agency standards, and emerging technologies in roadway design.
