Job summary

Qualifications

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in all aspects of roadway engineering design.
• Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered (e.g., PE or P.Eng).
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Experience with urban and rural highway interchanges, intersection design, and traffic management.
• Experience with coordinating survey, grading, drainage, utilities, and site layout is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed development of rural and urban roadway design projects.
• Perform quality assurance checks on major transportation projects.
• Serve as a technical expert and provide guidance for technical staff.
• Assume project management duties and interact with clients.
• Supervise the work of medium-sized staff of professionals and technicians.
