Job summary

Lochmueller Group is seeking a Project Engineer to join the Roadway Design team in St. Louis. This 100% employee-owned firm offers growth, mentorship, and meaningful transportation projects. A PE license is preferred, with 5+ years in roadway/highway design and proficiency in Civil 3D/OpenRoads Designer.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, prepare deliverables, and contribute to project proposals and budgets in a supportive, employee-owned environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive civil engineering experience in roadway/highway design.
• PE license preferred.
• Proven ability to apply design criteria and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, design, and delivery of roadway design projects.
• Prepare design calculations, plans, specifications, estimates, and reports.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
• Mentor early-career engineers and technical staff.
