Job summary

King County's Road Services Division is seeking dedicated Truck Drivers for a multi-site role in Renton and surrounding locations. You will transport materials, operate trucks with multiple attachments, and maintain safety standards on every shift.

Ideal candidates have a CDL and experience in construction/road maintenance, with a commitment to equity and safety. The position offers a five-day workweek in fall/winter and ten-hour days in spring/summer, with overtime eligibility.

Qualifications

• Valid Washington State Class A CDL and Medical Certification.
• Pre-employment physical and background checks required.
• Ability to operate trucks with heavy loads and side equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety inspections on vehicles and perform minor preventive maintenance.
• Safely drive and operate trucks and trailers to transport equipment, asphalt, sand, gravel, and other materials.
• Operate trucks with various equipment (sander, snowplow, anti-icer, water tank, pump) and a 5/10-yard dump truck.
• Adhere to OSHA/WISHA safety regulations and wear proper PPE.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
