Job summary

Payne & Dolan, Inc. is seeking an Experienced Road Grader Operator to join our Grading department in Wisconsin. Under the Foreman's direction, you will operate grading equipment safely and efficiently on construction sites to prepare roads.

Qualifications include 5+ years of grader experience, a valid driver's license, and flexibility for varied hours. CDL is preferred but not required, and union membership is supported where offered by the company.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and driving record.
• 5+ years' experience as a grader operator.
• CDL preferred but not required.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Punctual and dependable.
• Variable hours including nights, early mornings, weekends.
• Union membership required or willing to join.

Responsibilities

• Use machinery to move construction materials, earth and other heavy materials.
• Operate land grading equipment to prepare roads.
• Able to read grade stakes and displays.
• Rough or finish grade as needed.
• Safely maneuver machinery in tight spaces around people and utilities.
• Clean, maintain and secure equipment.
• Follow safety and incident reporting procedures.
• Assist with repairs as needed.
