Job summary

Northeast Asphalt, Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking an Operator to work in our Grading department under the Foreman. You will operate several types of grading construction equipment safely and efficiently on diverse projects.

Responsibilities include moving material, reading grade stakes and displays, finishing grades, maintaining gear, and following safety procedures. CDL is desired but not required, union membership may be required; varied hours including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be punctual and dependable.
• Willingness to work varied hours including nights and weekends.
• A CDL is desired but not required.
• Union membership may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate grading equipment to move construction materials at sites.
• Read grade stakes and automated machine control displays and adjust accordingly.
• Finish rough grade or final grade as assigned.
• Maintain, secure and inspect equipment; follow safety procedures.
• Assist with repairs as needed.
