Job summary

Mercy seeks an experienced registered nurse with a BSN to join our team in Missouri. The role emphasizes direct clinical care in OBGYN and pediatric settings, with a focus on high-quality patient communication and teamwork in a virtual care environment.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of diversified nursing experience, current licensure or eligibility, and BLS certification within six months of hire. Strong analytical, leadership, and multitasking abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a registered nursing program and hold a BSN.
• Minimum of 5 years of diversified direct clinical nursing experience.
• Must hold an active nursing license in practice state or be eligible for licensure and other state licensure.
• BLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• Experience in OBGYN settings preferred (Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, Women’s Health, or OBGYN practice).
• Pediatrics experience preferred (PICU, Pediatric Stepdown, Urgent Care, or Pediatric ER).
• Strong clinical knowledge of OBGYN patient care and anatomy; able to assess, intervene, and evaluate patient care under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care in an OBGYN-focused setting.
• Coordinate with care teams to manage multiple patients across ages and diagnoses.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families via phone and video in a virtual care environment.
• Prioritize tasks and adapt to a fast-changing healthcare setting.
