Qualifications

• 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) FTE experience in acute care, ambulatory care or home health/palliative/hospice care.
• Current California Registered Nurse license.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• Pediatric Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Provider Certification OR Oncology Nursing Society Provider Certification.
• PICC didactic course and recent (within the past 3 years) PICC insertion experience may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process with established standards.
• Lead the health care team; delegate tasks and ensure accountability.
• Ensure patient safety and administer medications per five rights; prevent falls and infections.
• Develop and revise individualized plans of care with multidisciplinary input.
• Document care accurately and use electronic health records efficiently.
• Support patient education and discharge planning.
